Taylor Swift gives surprise performance at a fan's engagement celebrations

Taylor Swift gave one fan the surprise of a lifetime when she showed up unannounced at his engagement party.

The gay couple was celebrating their engagement with their loved ones at a party on Saturday (February 23) at the Sycamore Tavern in Los Angeles, California, when Goldschmidt announced the special performance. "There was a person, who's not here, who sort of played a part in all of this".

While many have dubbed her the queen of breakup songs, it was a collection of Taylor Swift's love songs that brought a USA couple together in the lead up to their recent engagement.

When Alex Goldschmidt made a decision to propose to his partner, Ross Girard, he was listening to Swift's song, "King of my Heart".

Poor Rami Malek took a fall off stage following his Oscar win
Malek has already won the best actor awards at both the BAFTAs and the Golden Globes for his role in " Bohemian Rhapsody ". A very quick photographer happened to snap the moment Malek took a tumble, though he was quickly helped up by onlookers.

"I chose to propose to Ross listening to this song in my vehicle".

Speaking to Us Weekly magazine, Alex said: "Taylor wanted to do something involving that song, but it was just a matter of her schedule".

Goldschmidt, a fan and friend of Swift, got in front of the room where the party was being held with a very big surprise. "I can't thank Taylor enough for wanting to help make this day so special", Goldschmidt wrote. She had the idea of singing. "Nothing in life feels real and probably never will again". His connection with Swift even earned him a part in her "Shake It Off" music video, as he explained in an Instagram post at the time: "Two weeks after (taking Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran) selfies, Taylor Swift flew me out to LA to be in the "Shake It Off" video".
