But shortly after, he returned and bought the rest of the girls' stock, to the tune of $540, just to get them out of the cold.

A SC man spent over $500 on Girl Scout cookies Friday, and it wasn't because they're his favorite snack.

She said: 'This man purchased seven packs of cookies.

His purchase has helped the troop surpass its target and sell some 5,000 cookies so far this season, Ms Dillard told CBS News.

"He came back to the table and said "pack up all of your cookies".

The couple arrived in Morocco on Saturday - and made a decision to stay on privately for an extra night at the end of the visit. The Duchess has been learning French for eight years and has been practising recently to improve her skills.

The Girl Scouts were bundled up in winter coats as they attempted to sell their lot of cookies. Kayla Dillard said in a Facebook post that the man told the girls he wanted to buy everything so they could get out of the cold.

Dillard's post has since gone viral, amassing 25,000 Facebook reactions and more than 9,100 shares as of Tuesday afternoon, and many social media users have tried to identify the Good Samaritan behind the selfless act.

The girls had been offering the snacks in near-freezing 34F conditions when the man, who did not give his name, came to their rescue.

"What an unbelievable soul". "We all were shocked", she said. "The girls were very excited and thankful", she adds, per CNN.
