Authorities: Mom, daughter charged in deaths of 5 relatives in Pennsylvania

Police found a Pennsylvania woman and her adult daughter in an apartment with the bodies of five relatives they had killed, including three children, authorities said Tuesday.

Their bodies were discovered around 4 p.m. Monday inside the Robert Morris Apartments on West Bridge Street.

Two of the victims were identified as Shana's children, 25-year-old Naa'Irah Smith and 13-year-old Damon Decree Jr.

The 45-year-old woman and her 19-year-old daughter each will be charged with five counts of homicide and one count of conspiracy, according to the district attorney's office. "Just spoke to the family of all five of the deceased and we're all heartbroken", Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said late Monday night.

Speaking to reporters, Weintraub said that police were still searching for Campbell's 17-year-old son, Joshua Campbell, but that he is not a suspect in the investigation and officers are just hoping to ensure his safety.

Police arrived at the apartment to conduct a welfare check after someone told authorities the residents had not been seen for a week, reports KFSN.

All the bodies were found in a ground floor apartment, and investigators have reportedly ruled out carbon monoxide poisoning.

One of them was having seizures when she was taken to hospital, according to reports.

Weintraub declined to immediately say how the five victims died or what the motive was for the killings.

She said: 'I saw the landlord and said, what's going on?
