Wizards Likely Remain Big Underdogs; John Wall Out For a Year

Wall, who was already out for the remainder of the season following surgery on his left heel, had also developed an infection in the incision from his previous surgery that took place January 8. Then, he ruptured a left Achilles tendon when he slipped and fell in his home. The surgery was a "debridement and fix of a Haglund's deformity and a chronic Achilles tendon injury".

It's a tough break for someone so fast and agile as Wall, who is considered one of the fastest guards in the NBA, but the five-time NBA All-Star has failed to live up to both his draft status and contract due to his history of injury.

Wall was diagnosed when a team doctor performed a procedure to clean out an infection. Douoguih estimated the recovery range for Wall's injury, "at John's age", to be from 11 to 15 months.

Wall has had three knee surgeries with his first dating back to September 2002 when he missed the first 33 games of the season.

To make matters worse, this is how he suffered the injury.

India's January inflation pace drops; RBI could cut rates again
The top two year fix from Gatehouse Bank pays 2.35 per cent, now some 0.55 percentage points above inflation. Last month, 106 accounts matched or beat the CPI but that has more than doubled to 245 after the drop.

Wall is expected to be out 12 months from the time of the procedure.

As already seen, that's never a guarantee.

Wall played in 32 games during the 2018-19 campaign, averaging 20.7 points, 8.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 34.5 minutes per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor, 30.2 percent from 3-point range and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.

After a 137-129 loss at home against the last-place Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, the Wizards are 22-31 and tied for 10th in the Eastern Conference.
