Antonio Brown's Contract Makes it Nearly Impossible for Steelers to Trade Him

Antonio Brown's Contract Makes it Nearly Impossible for Steelers to Trade Him

Brown took to social media to bid farewell to the Steelers fans, saying: "Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years.time to move on and forward".

With over $107 million in cap space right now, the Colts can add literally anyone they want to via free agency (or a trade). The Texans are an interesting team in the Antonio Brown Trade rumors because pairing Brown and DeAndre Hopkins is simply entertaining. Following his post, National Football League insiders reported that Brown has officially requested a trade. New England clearly stands as the biggest impediment to any AFC team trying to advance to the Super Bowl, and Brown would also be the ideal fit for them.

The Steelers should not struggle to move Brown and get a good return, as teams see him as key piece to take a proverbial next step.

Antonio Brown has officially requested a trade away from the Pittsburgh Steelers, and despite there being plenty of interest in the seven-time Pro Bowler, it will be extremely hard for the Steelers to trade their star receiver. The team sent him home with an apparent leg injury on the Friday before the game and he failed to provide coach Mike Tomlin with an update until Sunday morning, when his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, let Tomlin know that Brown was available to play.

Champions League: Defeat to PSG leaves Manchester United on brink of elimination
The second leg in Paris takes place on March 6th. "I think the guy is very competitive, like all South American guys". United's poor performance against the Parisians on Tuesday, February 12, saw them stunned 2-0 at Old Trafford .

The New England Patriots have made their fair share of noteworthy deals in the Bill Belichick era, but it looks like the Super Bowl LIII champs will be out of the running for the crowned jewel of the upcoming trade market.

Committing $12.6 million of that to Brown, however, seems unlikely.

Brown doesn't have that kind of baggage, though his behavior in recent months could give potential suitors pause.
