Tesla will roll out 'Dog Mode' to protect pets

Musk responded to the tweet, "Yes". The feature would use the eight cameras on late-model Tesla cars to monitor people when they get too close to the cars.

Whereas Tesla is a model of luxurious electrical automobiles, the Model Y has been confirmed to have a lower cost than the corporate's different choices. "You don't need a team because there are not that many cars coming through".

"The profitability picture for 2019 and the all-important Model 3 demand trajectory in Europe for Tesla looks encouraging for Musk & Co., but there is clearly heavy lifting ahead around Europe logistics/cost-cutting/driving incremental USA demand that will remain overhangs and thus make Tesla a "prove me" story the next few quarters", Wedbush's Ives said.

Delivery of the Model 3 was the company's key priority in the latter half of 2018, as Tesla tried to supply all buyers wanting the full benefit of the $7,500 USA tax credit before it was cut in half at year's end.

Do you plan to buy an electric auto in 2019?

Russian Federation may unplug from the internet to test its cyberdefenses
There's no official date for when this move might take place, but the BBC reports that it would likely occur before April 1. It requires Russia's Internet providers to stay functional in the event the country gets cut off from worldwide internet.

Electric vehicle owners should be acutely aware that their cars might not get almost the same range in the winter months, according to a new study released by AAA.

Musk has said Tesla has multiple ways of stoking demand, if it chose to, such as offering leases or boosting marketing efforts. Musk said last week a $35,000 version that could be sold profitably was perhaps six months away.

Yet the most shorted company in the history of the US market somehow managed to turn things around and ramp up the Model 3 production quickly enough to report a profit for the third quarter of 2018. He is going to cover both Tesla's headquarters in Oslo and Amsterdam.

The company has attempted to draw more buyers with two price cuts in recent months, but that has only gotten the bottom-end price of the Model 3 down to $42,900, which is not close to the $35,000 Musk promised when the vehicle was introduced in 2016.

The group's numbers were cut because there were no more Model 3s to deliver. Potentially, the Model Y could also do the same in the SUV market.

Like the Model X, We'll be seeing the Model Y onstage soon.
