PSG hands Man United first defeat under Solskjaer

Kylian Mbappe said Paris Saint-Germain must not feel fear after a 2-0 win at Manchester United established a dominant position in their Champions League last-16 tie.

Manchester United finished second in Group H and shuddered in December when UEFA pitted them against Group C victor PSG in the Round of 16 draw, which took place in December.

Yet, for all the positivity of United's return to form in the past two months, they remain 14 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City and Liverpool and the big rebuilding job required to make the three-time European champions contenders again for this competition was laid bare.

United played well in the first half but lost both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard to injury at half time and without two of the men integral for their turnaround they struggled in the second half.

Presnel Kimpembe turned home at the far post from an Angel Di Maria corner, before Kylian Mbappe finished off from another Di Maria assist, giving United a huge task to overcome.

The English giants will also have to cope without Paul Pogba in three weeks' time as he was sent off for two yellow cards a minute from time to round off a awful night for the hosts.

He said afterward he wants to fight at least three more times this year. "I'm extremely proud of Tank", Mayweather said. He got an exhibition bout with the guy Tenshin in Japan, in April. 'Yes, exhibition bout.

They can not build the game up, especially at the back. He obviously hates YOUR football team and has no interest in synchronised swimming. "They were a level..."

"No, not at all because at this club we have to bounce back and we are in a tournament, the Champions League, where it's always going to be hard, but our bread and butter is the (domestic) league so (I'm) not afraid of that".

"Maybe you can say that (it's a reality check) because that's the level we want to get to", he said. The game was Solskjaer's first outing in Europe since taking charge.

'In the Champions League it is an important thing that you can not be dominated in midfield and the whole evening Man United were dominated in midfield, ' Wenger explained on beIN SPORTS after the game.

As Di Maria sent in a cross, Mbappe darted between center backs Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof and clipped the ball under goalkeeper David de Gea for his 23rd goal of the season.

"The second goal was quality by them. It has to be one that we're going to learn from".
