Lady Gaga defends Cardi B's Grammys win following backlash

One fan hilariously summed up the internet's reaction, tweeting "When Cardi B said 'Invasion of Privacy, ' Offset took it literally".

Some accused her of not being "deserving" of the accolade, while others - including Ariana Grande (who insisted she has no beef with Cardi) - questioned why the award wasn't given to Mac Miller following his posthumous nomination.

The sometimes-feuding Minaj and Cardi B appeared to call a truce of sorts back in October.

"Slept in the studio on leather sofas for 3 months straight, migraines, in Atlanta in Miami away from my family. Your career is over.' That shit was dwelling on my fucking mind when I'm working", she said to the camera.

While on stage, the rapper couldn't nonce words and was smiling bright as she accepted her award alongside her team. Offset's been doing everything he can to win her back officially, and things are extremely close to getting there.

Then, at the Grammys, Offset put a slight damper on Cardi B's fire vintage Mugler ensemble.

That left both Moeen and Wood on four wickets each, and it was the latter who would finish with five as he rattled Gabriel's stumps.

The rapper posted an impassioned video clip to social media, calling out the negative commentators. My album went two-time platinum and every chart that there was, my album was always Top 10.

"I wanna thank my daughter", Cardi said during her speech. "I'm thankful and grateful and again thank you to all the artist that gave me a feature", Cardi added.

"You might know me as that annoying dancer on social media that be talking hella insane, with the long nails and the big ol' titties, but I'm just a regular, degular, shmegular girl from the Bronx". She has since deleted the tweets, insisting the message wasn't directed at the rapper.

He started out by writing on Twitter, "I don't never wanna be propped up by tearing somebody else down".

The apology came after a tweet from BET made fun of Minaj while praising Cardi B's Grammy win. Same wit jay rock and Anderson. You deserve your awards.
