To recall, the Google Pixel 3 offers dual SIM support in the form of a regular SIM slot and eSIM. Unfortunately, before Pixel 3 owners get their hopes up about getting dual SIM support in a future update, the comment also mentions that some devices - like the Pixel 3 - will remain single SIM, even if they contain two SIM cards. It doesn't have two main cameras nor does use the full extent of dual SIM capabilities.

Like Apple's latest iPhones, Google's upcoming Pixel will allow users to more seamlessly receive texts and calls from two networks at once; a pretty nice boon for those whose primary cellular provider has spotty coverage in certain areas.

The second, Dual SIM, Dual Standby (DSDS), allows a phone to receive calls and texts from the secondary SIM as long as the phone isn't actively using the primary SIM for the same objective. Also available in the latest iPhones and many dual SIM Android smartphones, this basically means that the other SIM can receive calls or texts so long as the primary SIM slot isn't actively being used for the same objective.

Australian Ricciardo ended his lengthy association with Red Bull to make his surprise move to Renault. We should have the motorhome and the coffee machine working but that's as far as I'm 100% sure.

Before then we might well get treated to the Pixel 3 Lite - Google is rumored to be readying a mid-range version of its 2018 flagship phone, built with slightly cheaper materials and a less powerful chipset on board. This just means that you can't use both SIMs at the same time, in this case the physical SIM and the eSIM networks simultaneously. You aren't required to purchase two identical phones to take advantage of the promotion, any combination of Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL phones will work regardless of their storage capacity. A Googler noted that the 2019 Pixel 4 will have dual SIM functionality in Android Q.

Beyond that, there's no other word regarding other features. When used alongside a hardware SIM, the Pixel 3 will work in dual-SIM mode, but not well.

Ultimately, adding and improving support for dual SIMs is a step forward for Android and the Pixel line.
