Warren says Trump may not be 'free' in 2020

Warren says Trump may not be 'free' in 2020

Warren's weekend kickoff saw her formally joining a growing field of candidates for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination as the group competes for the opportunity to unseat Trump.

Donald Trump Jr. later posted a screenshot of his father's tweet on Instagram along with a reply by another user that said, "The Native American genocide continues with another murder by the president". In a tweet, Trump called Warren "Pocahontas" and said he would see her "on the campaign TRAIL". "We're going to chase after those every day?"

"Elizabeth Warren has already been exposed as a fraud by the Native Americans she impersonated and disrespected to advance her professional career, and the people of MA she deceived to get elected", campaign manager Brad Parscale said."The American people will reject her dishonest campaign and socialist ideas like the Green New Deal, that will raise taxes, kill jobs and crush America's middle-class".

Hours after Warren, the senator from MA, formally kicked off her campaign on Saturday, the president renewed his criticism of her past claims of Native American heritage. "See you on the campaign TRAIL, Liz!"

She also focused on the impact on minorities, suggesting that the 30% lower home ownership rates among African Americans is a result of discriminatory lending practices.

Lin's salary - $13.8 million for the 2018-19 season - makes it impossible for a team to claim him off waivers. Everyone competes in this league, but I think there is a pocket of guys that go above and beyond that.

She came under heavy criticism from both Republicans and Democrats for falsely claiming Native American ancestry on several professional documents, including her application to Harvard Law School, which later claimed her as a "minority". For her part, Warren sought to address the controversy again previous year when she took a DNA test. It was a fitting backdrop for the longtime consumer advocate to advance her platform of taking a pickaxe to Wall Street.

By entering the 2020 race, Warren joined what is expected to be a very crowded list of candidates that already includes California Sen. Kamala Harris, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and former secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro. Warren then traveled to Iowa on Sunday.

"Every day, there's a racist tweet, a hateful tweet, something really dark and ugly", Warren said referring to Trump.

'If we go down that path, we're going to need to help pull this country together and have as many people as possible understand it was a legitimate process based on facts, ' she said. "What are we as candidates, as activists, as the press, going to do about it?"
