Nicki Minaj has made the announcement that she will pull herself and the Young Money squad out of the BET Experience and Award show after a tweet and post shared by the network.

In a since-deleted tweet, BET noted that Cardi B-who's feuded with Minaj in the past-had become the first woman to win Best Solo Rap Album.

Nicki Minaj Throws Down the Gauntlet Against BET, Won’t Perform at Awards

Only time will tell if Weezy will boycott this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards, but for now, don't expect to see Nicki. Unfortunately the respect we have for Nicki was violated by this post that should never have been written.

Someone commented "Don't feel obligated to apologize for y'all said what y'all said she backed out on her lil performance it's okay we can find someone else to perform".

The network added: "We understand Nicki's position and look forward to continuing our dialogue with her".

Nicki got upset and refused to perform at the BET Experience as we said above and in an attempt to make things right BET issued an apology. "This should have never happened".

Last night, BET chimed in on Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's deep-seated beef and now, Minaj wants smoke with the network.
