Ariana Grande Admits How 'SNL' Star Pete Davidson Affected 'Thank U, Next'

The Thank U, Next singer, who did not attend Sunday's show due to differences with producers, live-tweeted throughout the majority of the telecast - but the best rap album category had Grande particularly frustrated as Miller's fifth and final studio album, Swimming, lost to Cardi's Invasion of Privacy.

Grande wanted to perform her latest single, "7 Rings", but Ehrlich explained to Entertainment Tonight, "We discourage artists from doing new songs, for a number of reasons, not the least of which is then that song has a leg up in someone's mind for next year".

"F-", she tweeted, as Cardi B was announced the victor.

Ariana Grande has spoken in the past about how devastated she was when he died suddenly and unexpectedly; so it's no surprise to see her angry at the Grammys.

Appeal likely for Bissonnette judge's 'unusual' sentencing decision
Six Muslim men, aged between 39 and 60, were killed when Bissonnette stormed the mosque and opened fire on January 29, 2017 . Last March, Bissonnette pleaded guilty to six count of first-degree murder and six counts of attempted murder in the attack.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine however he admitted he never spoke to Ariana directly but worked with her management team and insisted he usually "does not have this happen".

"Everyone that I am still in touch with has been very supportive of it", Grande said.

But Grande fired back in a social media post that she "can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken". She wrote that he could have not one song but a whole album dedicated to him. Ask Mary J. Blige, who was scared shitless to go out there and do 'No More Drama.' I basically worked with her to mold it. Producer Ken Ehrlich in an interview said "Ariana felt it was too late for her to pull something together" for the show. "I don't know if I'm good at anything else, but I understand artists and I can hear other artists in an artist", he said. "I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more". "It's like I'm the universe and you be N-A-S-A", Grande sings. She has also been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album twice before (for My Everything in 2015 and Dangerous Woman in 2017) and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Dangerous Woman" in 2019.
