Vivo V15 Pro Camera and specifications leaked ahead of 20 February launch

The Vivo Nex came with a pop-up selfie camera, while the Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition came with two displays. In addition, the company has mentioned in its announcement that V15 Pro will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

While the megapixel count is impressive, it doesn't necessarily translate to good photos.

Chinese company Vivo has confirmed that it will release its smartphone Vivo Pro V15 20 Feb in India. That's the same day as Samsung's Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S10 is expected to be announced.

Trump lashes out as Democrats open probes into his taxes, Russia ties

"Vivo has continued to sustain leadership in the Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 price category and we hope to further fortify this position with the launch of V15 Pro and V15", Nipun Marya, Director-Brand Strategy, Vivo India, told IANS in an interview. The rear panel of the device is being shown in the image and we get a clear look at the camera setup on the back which shows a vertical alignment with the triple-camera setup and the LED played between the lenses. The new Vivo smartphone is also equipped with a refined in-display fingerprint sensor. The V15 Pro claims to feature the world's first 32MP pop-up selfie camera. For its availability, the phone will be available exclusively via Amazon India website and its product page is still live now. The phone will sport the 11nm, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Vivo India has also posted another video teaser which indicated that its triple rear camera set up is likely to have artificial intelligence (AI) features. The smartphone also appears to have a 3,700mAh battery along with a "Dual Engine" fast charging technology. The company is also expected to preview a new Apex smartphone.

With this statement, it is easy to gauge that the V15 will belong around the 20K mark while the V15 Pro will be priced around 30K mark.
