Sorry, but Respawn isn't working on Titanfall 3

EA and Respawn's new free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends has become an instant hit, with over a million players logging in to give the Titanfall developer's latest a spin in the eight hours following its quickfire release. Titanfall 2 was/is possibly one of the best single-player and multiplayer games of the generation, and it's sad to know that we won't see a sequel anytime soon.

Apex Legends is apparently set in the Titanfall universe but it doesn't seem to carry any characters of the Titanfall franchise itself.

If you've spent any amount of time in battle royale games like Fortnite, then you've probably grown quite accustomed to the world of third person shooters.

So, Apex Legends is clearly off to a blazing start, but the real test will come in the longer-term picture, and whether this success can be sustained over the coming months.

Duchess Meghan to hire a doula ahead of royal baby birth?
He said: "But as so often with Meghan , sadly, it was all about her, and not really about the sex workers". And before he could go any further, both Meghan and Harry let out a very surprised laugh.

While many believe Apex Legends will most likely be a battle royale based around Titanfall, some speculation has proved to be incorrect. You can get it on PS4, Xbox, and PC. "It's their abilities that set them apart, so you'll want to pick the Legend that matches your preferred playstyle and complements your squad". This isn't the first time a game's reveal has been ruined, but Respawn CEO Vince Zampella took it in stride and confirmed the game's existence, telling everyone to check the game's Twitch account on Monday. Apex Legends will follow a seasonal model with each themed season bringing new content to the game in the form of new weapons, new Legends, new skins and more.

After leaking over the weekend, last night Respawn and EA officially launched Apex Legends.

The game is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but players on each platform can not squad up together, while other battle royale titles like Fortnite feature full cross-play between multiple platforms, including mobile.
