Tori Spelling confirms '90210' revival is in the works

In a new interview, Beverly Hills, 90210 vet-turned-Masked Singer warbler Tori Spelling confirms that the "whole ensemble cast" is attached to the in-the-works quasi-reboot - with the notable exception of Shannen Doherty.

The series first graced screens in 1990 and was about students who attended a wealthy high school in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

Dig out your crimping irons, oversized blazer and double denim, Beverly Hills 90210 is back (again), but this time the original nineties cast is back on board - and it's served with a twist.

Spelling's confirmation comes a few weeks since reports surfaced about former 90210 stars Jennie Garth, Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Jason Priestley were working together on the new series, and having meetings with networks to pitch the project. Tori Spelling (45), one of the Stars from the Original film, said about the Reboot to "Access Live": "I just confirmed something that was known?"

What we know about this version of the show is rather simple: It's not an actual revival in which the original cast is back as the characters you've come to know and love over time.

Iran unveils long-range cruise missile on revolution anniversary
Iran said in January its bid to launch a satellite failed after Tehran ignored USA warnings to avoid such activity. Tehran has showcased a new, long-range cruise missile, capable of covering over 1,350 kilometers.

She told them: 'The fans will be pleasantly surprised, though, because we will intercut that with scenes from the show. "And we're playing heightened versions of ourselves".

Spelling explained that "almost everybody" from the main cast is returning for the show, including Luke Perry, who will be making appearances when his Riverdale filming schedule eases up.

"Think "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episodes, in an hour long show, and we're all playing heightened versions, so it could be fictional, it could be non-fictional, people will have to guess", she told E!'s Daily Pop. "But outside of that, we pretty much have the entire original cast", she boasted. "(There) is no status right now.

Probably, mostly because we're talking about one of the most popular series of the past several decades coming back in a new form.

Beverly Hills, 90210 is now streaming on CBS All Access and Hulu. It ran for five seasons until 2013.
