Instagram’s most famous egg ‘hatches’ following Super Bowl

The most recent update suggests that EGG GANG will reveal all post-Super Bowl, on February 3.

"Recently I've started to crack... the pressure of social media is getting to me", the video noted.

It looks like the egg marks another addition of the internet realm bleeding over into the "real world", leaving users to ask - what's next?

The egg, dubbed "Eugene", was created by London-based ad exec Chris Godfrey, who was curious to see if a picture of an egg could become a social-media star.

After the account broke the record for the most amount of likes on an Instagram photo, it started posting photos of the egg slowly cracking.

As reported by Taylor Lorenz of The Atlantic, the photo of this egg and the Instagram account it is posted on has been genuine viral content over the last few weeks.

Joshua likely to scrap fight with Whyte
We are discussing all possibilities and will let everyone know what the future holds in the coming days, ' he told Sportsmail. Joshua's last outing saw him stop Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium on September 22.

The egg ended up CRUSHING Kylie's old record of 18 million likes, now sitting at a whopping 52 million likes.

As for the egg's mega-popularity, Godfrey told the Times that the egg's success has been a fluke. Its caption said, "The wait is over".

Now, it appears the campaign may be tied in with Hulu after the account's most recent post, which promises that all will be revealed during Super Bowl LIII.

It's followed by the words "If you're struggling, talk to someone". The egg gave interviews under various egg-related pseudonyms but we didn't know the name of the human who thought the whole thing up. Over the past month, the egg not only beat Kylie Jenner's Instagram record of 18.7 million likes, but zoomed past 50 million little Instagram hearts to dominate the 'gram.

'It's what you do with that attention that counts'.
