Like Wonder Woman, if Captain Marvel earns good reviews, it will benefit Marvel further.

The Super Bowl across the pond is traditionally the time for the big movies on the way in the coming months to debut new trailers or TV spots.

There's a glimpse of Carol Danvers in military training, then preparing to take flight before later transforming into Captain Marvel who can fly higher without wings. She's a pilot in the US Air Force, and somewhere along the way she winds up in space with the Kree, without her memories, only to return to Earth and fight alongside a young Nick Fury.

If these numbers prove accurate, that would give Captain Marvel the seventh-biggest opening weekend of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sitting behind Iron Man 3 on $174.1 million.

Marvel Studios has released a Super Bowl spot for their upcoming Captain Marvel featuring Carol Danvers in action. The movie will finally be hitting the theatres on April 26, 2019.
