Dean Ambrose Rejected A Huge Contract Offer From WWE

Ziggler admitted he was surprised to learn of Ambrose's departure, but understands someone wanting to move on and do other things. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean had given to WWE and our fans.

Dolph Ziggler was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio where the "Show Off" commented on the WWE's announcement that Dean Ambrose would not be renewing his contract and will leave the company when it's concluded.

Ambrose joined WWE developmental in 2011 after establishing himself on the independent scene as Jon Moxley and was introduced alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as The Shield at the 2012 Survivor Series. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.

Reports hit yesterday claiming that Dean Ambrose had told WWE management he wanted to leave the promotion when his contract expires after WrestleMania.

WWE confirmed the news later Tuesday, issuing a rare statement for a departing talent well ahead of their final date.

However, the new symbol has been added underneath the character for seven, rather than in-between and above the original inking. If it's read left to right, it still translates to " small barbecue grill finger ♥".

As for Ambrose's future plans, a switch to All Elite Wrestling seems a likely proposition, while Ring of Honor also have the financial capability to vie for his signature.

A source - identified as a WWE wrestler - said Ambrose is "impossible to read" but said he "hate hokey s***".

Raw female superstar Ember Moon will be out of action for a while.

Top WWE officials and a small circle of Ambrose's friends knew about his decision, but it wasn't well known among most of his colleagues until after Raw ended.

Rollins went on to win the Royal Rumble and is expected to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan is vowing to change the climate of WWE forever (now with Erick Rowan by his side), and The Miz & Shane McMahon will celebrate their tag title victory.
