GoFundMe Launched to Send Girls to See Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame are nearly upon us, but that didn't stop actor Samuel L. Jackson from dropping a huge spoiler that changes everything.

Los Angeles based non-profit Girls Inc., activist Frederick Joseph, and philanthopic organization We Have Stories have teamed up to launch a GoFundMe to raise money to send girls to see "Captain Marvel" in theaters. Marvel Studios' first female led film, "Captain Marvel" offers this type of important representation.

In a print interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jackson was talking about Captain Marvel's abilities and he let slip that "She's one of the few people in the Marvel universe that can time travel".

Former MLB All-Star John Wetteland arrested on child sex abuse charge
An arrest warrant was issued for Wetteland, who lives in the Dallas-area suburb of Trophy Club, following an investigation. He retired as the Rangers' all-time saves leader with 150 after the 2000 season.

To start, this is a uniquely reflective piece, using Carol's supporting characters to establish where she is now in her new life back on Earth, as well as the plot threads of her previous titles to really make this feel like a proper continuation instead of starting anew. In fact, while Captain Marvel has a lot of powers in the comics, time travel has never been one of them, so that's why we're shocked to hear she'll have that power in the MCU.

Whatever the actual backstory that was meant to accompany this character design, this concept art is sure to only fan the flames of Marvel fans' hunger for more details about the upcoming sequel, Avengers: Endgame. We may be saying goodbye to some heroes in Endgame, but we'll also be welcoming heroes like Captain Marvel and, while Thanos may be getting defeated, we're looking forward to seeing more interesting and compelling villains, such as Doctor Doom and Galactus. If anyone recalls the end-credits scene of Ant-Man and The Wasp, Scott Lang made his way into the Quantum Realm. And at some point, we'll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she's capable of.

The first "Endgame" trailer didn't provide many answers.
