An Unhinged Donald Trump Attacks Elizabeth Warren With A Racially-Charged Tweet

President Donald Trump incensed several Twitter users late Sunday with a racist tweet directed at Sen. Warren is one of Trump's frequent targets, yet his petulant tirade somehow managed to outdo even himself. Trump tweeted, along with the Instagram live video Warren posted on New Year's Eve to announce her candidacy over a beer with her husband, Bruce.

One reporter also asked what kind of beer she was drinking, and Warren's response was light-hearted. "I'm glad you're here, '" Trump continued.

Trump has repeatedly attacked Warren over her claims of Native American heritage and has publicly nicknamed her "Pocahontas".

American soldiers cut down more than 300 Lakota men, women and children at Wounded Knee on December 29, 1890 in what to Native Americans "represented the utter disregard of the US toward its treaty responsibilities, its duplicity, and its cruelty toward Native people", according to Indian Country Today.

That Trump would so flippantly invoke these two battles between the U.S. Army and Native Americans is shocking.

It still hasn't shut Trump up on the subject, either, with his latest tweets showing a nonchalance towards the US government's past violence against Native Americans.

GOP members ready to take action against Steve King
When Cruz was asked whether he would support King in the future, the senator did not provide a direct answer. Randy Feenstra, a Republican state senator, announced Wednesday that he plans to run against King in 2020.

He shared a mock campaign logo that read Warren 1/2020th, a play on 2020 and a DNA test which revealed she has a distant Native American ancestor.

This was Warren's first visit to New Hampshire since launching her exploratory committee for the 2020 campaign.

The president has been censured repeatedly for his Native American jabs at Ms Warren.

Warren has also faced criticism from the White House and other Republicans, who claim she used her native American heritage to advance her career. The event succeeded her presidential bid announcement.

On Sunday Trump also took aim at Amazon founder Jeff Bezos whom he called "Jeff Bozo" after the National Enquirer reported details about his love life.
