New GAME OF THRONES Teaser Promises Stark Winter, Firm Date

Game of Thrones' final run of six near-feature-length episodes starts April 14th. After months of building anticipation among fans, HBO dropped the air date ahead of its third season premiere of "True Detective" with a new teaser video.

The Crypts of Winterfell is an ideal setting for a final season trailer, with the location being full of significance for the Starks.

The Indian viewers will be able to watch the season 8 premiere on April 15, 2019, either on Hotstar or Star World.

As Jon is walking through the crypt, he passes a statue of Lyanna Stark, which is Ned's sister and Arya and Sansa's auntie.

With six episodes planned, it looks like Game Of Thrones fans will be saying goodbye to Westeros in May. It was shot specifically to hint to fans what the final season might hold.
