Samsung goes big with a 219-inch TV

Called the LG Signature OLED TV R, the TV is expected to go on sale later this year. Heralded for its revolutionary microLED technology, this TV will use less energy than current televisions you probably own now, but that's only half the fun.

Televisions are always a big star at CES. The display panel can roll up inside the base at the bottom.

Using new technology that uses less energy that televisions that are now in use, "The Wall" is actually made up of modules that allows owners to configure the set however they choose.

However, the massive TV doesn't come in one piece.

Samsung " s new whopping 219-inch MicroLED TV is nicknamed as "The Wall'. The burgeoning resolution is coming to more and more flagship televisions, even if few people will be able to make use of it with actual 8K content. Who really needs an 8K TV? Last year, Samsung had also announced a 146-inch modular display. It is powered by the company's second-gen Alpha 9 processor. Not a big show on TV, but it's a big show for TVs, especially big TVs. No price has been given for this new 98-inch model.
