Jadon Sancho offers advice to Hudson-Odoi amid Bayern links

Arjen Robben believes Chelsea teen Callum Hudson-Odoi needs to take his "chance" amid interest in Bayern Munich to acquire the attacker.

It is now unknown if he will be a Chelsea player by the end of the January transfer window, with Bayern still said to be interested in the player. I think it is a great opportunity for him to do that'.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are now preparing for their home clash against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday night.

Sarri, who celebrated his 60th birthday on Thursday, is not a fan of the winter transfer window. 'Hopefully, we will see more of that.

Sarri said he had recommended to Chelsea that two players be signed, but declined to say their positions.

It all comes back to over rewarding our young players financially again because if you're say Tammy Abraham and you're getting phenomenal sums of money to be a Chelsea player and head out on loan then in many ways that works for everyone. In my opinion we need two players. In some ways it's insane that the Premier League clubs allow these players to go and will then have to pay a lot more to bring them back but if it's the only way those young English players will get an opportunity then so be it. "I don't know anything about the market day by day or minute by minute".

The Rams have made a positive start under Frank Lampard so far, with 43 points from 26 Championship games. We were training on team tactics, shape, personnel and the fact that Harry Wilson wasn't training.

Sarri is demanding a replacement if Cesc Fabregas' move to Monaco materialises and, now, also if Alvaro Morata is allowed to leave this month.

Fulham are among the clubs to have been linked with the Belgian striker.

Sarri said: "Of course, if Morata will go to another club we need a replacement".

"Because in this moment in Europe there are 300 players involved in the market and they need to think only to the next match otherwise it's impossible to play".

Sarri refused to comment on talk of a Chelsea swoop for his former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan at AC Milan from Italian champions Juventus. "He does not get the number that people expect but as a centre-forward, and as a team player, I have a lot of admiration for him".
