Alleged R. Kelly Victims to Present Evidence for Prosecution for Sexual Abuse

On Tuesday Chicago prosecutor Kim Foxx urged anyone who suffered at the hands of embattled singer R. Kelly to tell their story.

Now, according to media reports, R. Kelly is under criminal investigation in Fulton County, Georgia, and it's all because of Lifetime's docuseries. He's reportedly put together a packet of evidence that will be given to the Cook County State Attorney.

In a statement, Gaga said "as a victim of sexual assault myself" she was at a "dark time in my life" when she collaborated with Kelly in 2013.

Timothy Savage told an officer on January 3 that Don Russell had texted him saying it would be best for him and his family if the documentary didn't air, according to a Henry County police report. "My intention was to create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn't processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life", she wrote.

Griggs told FOX 5 News that in the past few days, very senior members of the D.A.'s office have contacted Griggs regarding witness information in the case. Two months later, The Village Voice published a long interview with the reporter Jim DeRogatis, who first broke the accusations and has pursued justice for Kelly's alleged victims for years.

The fallout from Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly continues to play out.

Timberwolves: G Derrick Rose missed his sixth straight game with a sprained right ankle. "I can't say enough about that team". Noel went up to contest an attempted dunk by Andrew Wiggins , but the Wolves' wing caught Noel in the face with his forearm.

She also touched on the Surviving R. Kelly documentary series saying: "I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously".

Foxx stated that her office has been in contact with Chicago police, who say that they have performed wellness checks at various locations linked to Kelly.

Foxx said that as a survivor of sexual assault herself, she was "sickened by the allegations".

Savage and his wife have said repeatedly that Kelly has kept their daughter from contacting them since 2016.

Chris Hopper, a spokesman, for the Fulton County district attorney's office, declined to comment. He was acquitted of engaging in sex acts with a 13-year-old in 2008. Greenberg on Wednesday told WGN-TV that the allegations are "made up".
