Daenerys meets Sansa in new footage from Game of Thrones!

Daenerys meets Sansa in new footage from Game of Thrones!

Other shows featured in the ad include the new season of "Big Little Lies" with Meryl Streep and Season 1 stars Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, along with the final season of "Veep" and the third season of "True Detective" starring Mahershala Ali. A glossy commercial hyping the premium channel's upcoming slate of original content aired in the middle of the award show's broadcast and let us see the moment Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) meets Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

If fans were hoping that the Stark girls and Daenerys would team up in an epic display of girl power, they might be disappointed with the new footage. "Winterfell is yours, your grace", Sansa says to Daenerys. To me, it feels like she was encouraged, perhaps in a heavy-handed manner, by Jon Snow.

Dany and Sansa need to work together to defeat the White Walkers that arrived at the Wall last season.

The footage does not reveal much about the show but still offers a brief look at some of the vigilantes.

Samsung unveils massive 219-inch 4K "The Wall" TV
In addition to the new 75-inch size, Samsung is also showing an even larger version of The Wall this year - a whopping 219 inches. Samsung Electronics has unveiled a 219-inch version of its modular MicoLED display - The Wall - at CES 2019 in Las Vegas.

At the end of last season, Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) dragons and her vast army were finally on the way to Westeros, where Cersei (Lena Headey) has now become Queen after the death of her children.

Aside from this, the King in the North also bent the knee to the same House which murdered their grandfather and, generations ago, made The North give away its independence and swear loyalty to the Iron Throne after Aegon I Targaryen's invasion of Westeros. Let us know in the comments down below!

Whatever happens between the Starks and Daenerys, we hope they come to respect one another eventually.

Game of Thrones' eighth and final season will debut on April 2019. The previous one showed Sansa hugging Jon which is most likely to be a part of the same scene.
