Nvidia debuts RTX 2060 in flashy fashion at CES 2019

Nvidia debuts RTX 2060 in flashy fashion at CES 2019

The new models will be available at the end of this month. What do you guys think of the RTX 2060 so far?

It was during the last summer when Nvidia officially unveiled the new GeForce RTX series graphics cards for Desktop PCs. While it's the least powerful of the RTX family, Huang says the $349 RTX 2060 is faster than the 1070 Ti and 60 percent more powerful than the 1060.

Priced at US$349 (RM1434), the RTX 2060 is finally a super attractive GPU that does Ray Tracing, it will be available through partners and at NVIDIA starting January 15th. The RTX 2060 addresses that, he said, with the right combination of Tensor Cores and RT Cores.

To compare with its closest relative in the product stack, Nvidia equipped the RTX 2060 with 6GB of 14Gbps GDDR6 memory, which is 2GB less than the RTX 2070 cards include. According to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, the GeForce RTX 2060 can handle Battlefield V at 1440p resolution with an average of 60 FPS.

ITunes movies and TV shows coming to Samsung 2019 TVs
The iTunes app will offer access to users movies and TV shows in over 100 countries. There's no word on whether Apple will be partnering with other TV manufacturers.

NVIDIA just wrapped up its CES keynote, and in addition to the expected unveiling of the RTX 2060, the company announced new mobile GeForce RTX options. If the quality is there, it stands to be particularly impressive stuff - and the same is true across the range of brands now incorporating GeForce RTX technology into their new machines. But when they added DLSS to the mix, performance bounced back to where it was with ray tracing disabled.

A lot of titles already support these features including Hitman 2, Final Fantasy 15, Battlefield 5 and others - but there's plenty of upcoming games that also support the RTX series features including Anthem, which just had DLSS support confirmed on Nvidia's stage at CES.

Please stay tuned to HEXUS as we will have a review of a GeForce RTX 2060 FE up here as soon as we are allowed to. The RTX 2070 will also come with your choice of the two games, and getting an RTX 2080 or 2080 Ti will get you both.
