Guardiola hails the importance of De Bruyne

De Bruyne enjoyed the year of his career last season, recording a superb 12 goals and 21 assists in 52 matches as City won both the league and the Carabao Cup. "Without him, last season would maybe not have been possible", insisted the City manager after Sunday's Cup stroll.

The Championship Millers were beaten 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium by a City side that cost £390 million to assemble and contained four 2018 World Cup semi-finalists in Kyle Walker, John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne.

Hopefully, in the last part of the season he is able to help us because we need him.

We have done incredible in terms of results.

We are going to play the next game against Rotherham like a final, like against Liverpool, knowing that if we go through we are still in the second most important competition here in England and that is going to happen. We should not be embarrassed about that, it was just that the gulf in class was so great. "It won't be an easy game by any means but we're more than capable of winning, so let's get the job done".

The challenging environment also includes competition from several startups that all want to be like Tesla . As Bloomberg first reported, Tesla investors want to subpoena musician Claire Elise Boucher, a.k.a.

However, youngster Phil Foden made it 2-0 for Man City two minutes before the break with a scuffed effort inside the box against the run of play.

"He's scored more goals now than in our first season. But that is normal, he is 18 and the best way to learn is to play".

Warne's side went down to their heaviest defeat since 1995, but there was no shame in losing to a side that cost £390million to assemble. We came across, obviously, a very good Manchester City team who wanted to win.

"If he plays its because we believe he can play, not because he's a city fan or a nice guy - we believe he can play!"

"I think he improved a lot and it's the same with Phil [Foden]". It summed it up when I told my right-back to smile when Sterling came off and Sane came on.
