Christian Bale Attacks Mitch McConnell and Dick Cheney at Golden Globes

Christian Bale made sure to make room for someone unexpected in his Golden Globes acceptance speech: Satan.

The 76th Golden Globes Award took place on Sunday, January 6, at the Beverly Hilton in California, United States.

"Thank you, and for all the competition I'll be cornering the market on charisma-free assholes".

Bale won an Academy Award and Golden Globe in the supporting actor category for 2010's "The Fighter".

Bale, who gained 45 pounds (20 kilograms) for the role, told The Hollywood Reporter that he compiled more than 100 pages of notes on Cheney.

The actor said Satan gave him the inspiration to play Dick Cheney's role in the film "Vice".

Nvidia debuts RTX 2060 in flashy fashion at CES 2019
According to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, the GeForce RTX 2060 can handle Battlefield V at 1440p resolution with an average of 60 FPS. The RTX 2070 will also come with your choice of the two games, and getting an RTX 2080 or 2080 Ti will get you both.

It also earned nominations for Amy Adams' Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell's George W. Bush and for the screenplay and direction by McKay, the veteran comedy filmmaker who once skewered politicians as a Saturday Night Live writer.

"Christian Bale does so many great accents but his real accent sounds like me trying to do his accent".

Bale also teased playing another polarizing figure in politics for his next role - "So Mitch McConnel next?", calling out the Kentucky senator.

"To us, Satan is a symbol of pride, liberty and individualism, and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential". I can sink and ruin a perfectly good movie and so-so career in one speech.

In a tweet, the group reacted positively to Bale's thanks to Satan. As Mr. Bale's own talent and skill won him the award, this is fitting.
