Samsung gaming monitors getting MASSIVE upgrade in 2019

The CRG9 is a 49-inch high-resolution super ultra-wide gaming monitor with 32:9 aspect ratio with a 120GHz refresh rate and 4ms response time. The company unveiled its new monitor lineup on Thursday that includes Space Monitor equipped with an arm stand to clamp to the desk for extra space. We'll try and get some more hands-on time with these new monitors once we're on the ground at CES 2019.

Do any of these new monitors interest you?

It brings full 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution to the user, with support for up to 1 billion colors.

Gaming is the intended headline goal of the CRG9 and Samsung boasts the display features good gaming specs such as a 4ms response time, up to 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync 2 compatibility, and low image lag and motion blur - to help with fast paced games. "First there is the CRG9 49" gaming monitor that features a super ultra-wide screen and dual QHD resolution (5120x1440). But again, we've run into that "only so many different ways to talk about monitors problem".

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is just around the corner, and announcements of new products have already started to roll in, including a bunch of high-end monitors from Samsung.

That arm allows you to tilt and extend the display, from pushing it right up against a wall to making it seemingly rest on the desk.

However, the king's assent is needed before the appointment of a prime minister or senior public officials. Malaysian King Sultan Muhammad V has abdicated after just two years on the throne.

Beyond aesthetics, the Space Monitor 27-inch model offers WQHD resolution, while the 32-inch model can display content in 4K UHD.

This monitor comes in a 27-inch model that affords QHD resolution as well as a 32-inch variant that presents color in 4K UHD.

We briefly tested this ourselves, and while there are some articulation limitations with this type of arm, it's a uniquely clean and minimalistic setup that should attract users looking for clean lines on their desk. It's also got picture-by-picture functionality and a smaller stand size for more efficient space usage. The 1500R curvature is claimed to give users an immersive experience for creating content and watching videos while reducing the eye strain typically associated with long periods of traditional monitor use.

The power and HDMI cables are routed through the back of the stand, which helps reduce clutter on your desk. The thing is ultra-slim - just barely even 6.7 mm deep - and comes with a two-pronged base that also takes into efficient use of space into account.

Both monitors will be on display at CES in Las Vegas next week.
