Jimmy Butler is creating another hell-like atmosphere with 76ers

Jimmy Butler is creating another hell-like atmosphere with 76ers

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Butler challenged Brett Brown and his offensive system.

Wojnarowski notes that sources close to the coach indicate that Brown took new issue with Butler's conduct, while those close to Butler acknowledge that his intensity can come off as confrontational. According to ESPN, Butler's struggles to fit into the Philadelphia environment have caused some worries about whether he'll fit into the team's longterm plans, though the club is adamant about making the Big-3 (Butler, Simmons and Embiid) work this season and beyond. Given how things headed in Minnesota and the fact that he's entering free agency, it seems like Butler would be giving more care to protecting his reputation.

The Sixers (25-14), who are now fourth in the Eastern Conference, are 16-8 since the deal - 15-6 when Butler plays. He has reportedly met with Brown and Sixers GM Elton Brand privately to express some of his concerns.

The Sixers acquired Butler after an ugly few months of public trade demands, passive-aggressive (and sometimes just straight aggressive) feuding with the Minnesota Timberwolves front office. The 76ers are now 11th in the National Basketball Association in offensive rating, and yes the team needs to find more ways to get Butler involved on offense, but that's going to take some time.

Stormy times ahead for IBM-owned Weather Channel app
IBM says there has always been transparency about use of location data and it will be vigorously defended. Artificial intelligence systems like Watson demand huge data sets to train their algorithms on.

On ESPN's "The Jump", Amin El-Hassan spoke about Butler's reported challenge to Brown, stating Butler's agent has said that all is well now. Butler's preference has been to sign a more lucrative deal to remain with the Sixers, but it's clear that there are issues to be worked out before that comfort level fully exists.

However, now it appears that there is trouble in paradise when it comes to Philly's new star and head coach Brett Brown. So my job is to grow a team.

"I felt an elbow on my face, and I kind of freaked out because that's my same face I had surgery on".
