Royole also showed off its foldable FlexPai shortly before Samsung unveiled its foldable concept, while Huawei is expected to release one this year too.

Samsung wants its folding phone to have a long battery life.

And that's not all - as it turns out, Xiaomi is also working on a foldable phone.

Samsung showed off the foldable phone prototype in early November, although the phone's design was hidden in a bulky case.

The UI on the device keeps adapting when it is folded and switches automatically from tablet UI to phone UI after folding and the bottom bar gets narrower. It wouldn't come as a surprise if the model in the video is authentic and Xiaomi-branded. The rumored Xiaomi foldable phone shows that the device can be used as both as a smartphone and a tablet, similar to Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Fold.

Thule is estimated to be 9 miles (14 kilometers) across, while Ultima is thought to be 12 miles (19 kilometers). Mutual gravitational attraction keeps them married despite their gentle, 15-hour rotation.

The only aspect of the device that's visible in the video is the foldable display. Blass, however, isn't very sure about the authenticity of the video.

But is it a real product, or is it a "gadget porn deepfake" as Blass noted in his tweet?

It can be confirmed in the video that the foldable phone is from Xiaomi by the user interface.

The FlexPai is rough around the edges but could be the world's first commercially available foldable tablet-phone.
