Obama Ended Up On The Billboard Hot R&B Songs Chart

The former POTUS is slotted at the number 22 spot on this week's Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart with the single, "One Last Time (44 Remix)", reports Billboard.

According to Billboard, the track was released by the creator of the Broadway hit musical Hamilton Lin-Manuel Miranda. The musical is a take on the life of American founding father Alexander Hamilton.

The appearance is Obama's third entry on a Billboard chart.

Obama delivers George Washington's farewell address on the track that also features original Hamilton cast member Christopher Jackson and gospel star BeBe Winans.

The song starts with 307,000 on-demand USA streams and 9,000 downloads sold in the week ending December 27.

This isn't the first time Obama's voice has earned him recognition.

Back in 2009, A Moment in History: The Inauguration of Barack Obama managed to reach #6 on Billboards TV DVD Sales chart, which JX Cannon's Obama-featuring "Pop Cannon" hit #10 on the Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart in December of 2015.
