Former UF standout Singer gives special gift to his parents

The Kansas City Royals right-handed pitcher Brady Singer gave his parents something incredible this Christmas. To give back to the two people who have given up everything to support my brother and I.

In the letter, Singer reveals his gift to his parents after thanking them for helping him reach his dreams. From Woodlea Field to Kauffman Stadium, there is absolutely no way I could have done all this by myself. "Both of you constantly took off of work and spent every dime you made just to put a smile on my face", he wrote in the letter.

Singer then announces that he is paying off a loan his parents had at a bank and is paying off all their debt.

There's been no word on exactly how much money he spent to pay off his parent's debt.

But, Singer wrote, "there's something I want to give you" - his mom read this aloud as she looked at her husband in disbelief and grabbed his hand.

The Royals drafted Singer with their first round selection at No. 18 overall this year, according to Major League Baseball. "I love you both more than you could ever imagine and will never forget what you both have done".

Bethesda Offering Fallout 76 Free Copies of Fallout Classic Collection Until 2019
While free games are always good, there are still a number of problems with Fallout 76 despite several large patches. The offer applies to all players, which means Xbox One and PS4 players will be able to take advantage of this offer .

The following year, Singer won the Dick Howser Trophy for the national best college player of the year.

Singer is ranked the Royals' top prospect by MLB Pipeline. I can't thank them enough.

As you might expect, his mom choked up a few times while reading the letter.

He received a $4.25 million signing bonus from the team, according to the Star, and officials were excited to have the talented pitcher join the team.

"Because you deserve the very best, I want you both to know how much I appreciate you and how none of this would be possible without you", his mom read.

He is the most recent victor of the Dick Howser Trophy, which is awarded to the national college baseball player of the year.
