'I don’t agree with his tone': Melania's controversial comments about Donald Trump

First lady Melania Trump offered a blistering critique of comedians and others when she was asked what was the most hard thing about being the wife of the president.

The first lady said she was honored to welcome them home and thanked them for "answering the call of duty".

Mrs. Trump's stops at a pair of military bases Wednesday came during an unusually busy week of public appearances for the first lady. Trump has repeatedly attacked the press as "fake news" and referred to them as the "enemy of the people".

"It doesn't hurt", the first lady told Hannity.

"I follow what's going on", she said.

"I protect him and I want to give him a life as normal as possible".

Melania didn't ask to be first lady, but she has grown in her role.

"We had a great chemistry from day one", she said about meeting and dating her future spouse.

Earlier in the day, before her interview with Hannity, Melania Trump visited Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling outside Washington and Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) in Hampton, Virginia. She should be appreciating her status, they argued.

Aboard a landmark U.S. aircraft carrier, having historically flown over areas of Virginia and the Atlantic Ocean in a V-22 Osprey, FLOTUS depicted the way she communicates behind the scenes with her husband and what she advises him on current events, although she admitted this can yield different results.
