Red Dead Online Update Awards Players Free Gold Bars and Cash

To do this, it's giving all those who've played RDO before 20th December 15 gold bars.

Rockstar Games today put out a Red Dead Online beta update detailing that "Title Update 1.05" has been released, gold bars are being gifted, and cash gifts are also being gifted for certain players.

Sadly, as usual Rockstar has provided no official patch notes for Red Dead Redemption 2 Update 1.05, or at least nothing specific.

"We have been poring through incoming community input and suggestions and are working on updates for early 2019 to address many popular bits of feedback including some new anti-griefing measures in the works and other updates to improve gameplay balance", reads a Rockstar post. The rumor seems to stem from a YouTube video by Elemeno Peah, which allegedly shows a glitch that has convinced some fans that Rockstar is working on a Red Dead Redemption remake.

Cash on highway leads to crashes, chaos
In May, a truck spilled hundreds of thousands of dollars on an Indianapolis interstate when its back doors swung open. It started about about 8:30, when, police said, they received a report of an armored auto spilling cash on the road.

"Absolutely. We'd love for it to be there", said Fils-Aime, "but [.] Red Dead has been in development for years, time that predated any communication of Nintendo Switch".

"Can't play Red dead redemption 2 due to stupid update screwing stuff up!" The only patch note available is available on the PS4 dashboard, along with the 1.05 patch, and it simply says the update provides, "Red Dead Online Beta bug fixes and improvements". By some accounts, Red Dead Redemption 2 began development just after the first game shipped in 2010, and if that is indeed the case, that was still during the Nintendo Wii days. This Red Dead Redemption remake could also come in the form of DLC with Red Dead Redemption.

Rockstar Games is handing Red Dead Online players in-game cash and gold bars as a big thank you for continuing to test the game.
