Nike introduces NBA 'Earned' jerseys ahead of Christmas Day games

To be worn for the first time during the Bucks' matchup with the New York Knicks on Christmas Day, the Nike NBA Earned Edition uniform was awarded by the NBA to the 16 teams that made the 2018 NBA Playoffs. For Cavs fans, this means a cool twist on their already-hot City Edition kits is on the way.

The first 7,500 fans in attendance that night will receive an Earned Edition Target Bullseye plush doll.

Nike says the colors represent "the change of seasons as the cold winter that grips Northeast Ohio transforms the Great Lake Erie from water to ice". In fact, Kevin Love shared a picture of his No. 0 uniform with his followers on social media.

The Cavs will wear the Earned Edition for three home games at Quicken Loans area on Jan. 2 vs. the Miami Heat, Jan. 29 vs. the Washington Wizards and on February 2 when the team faces the Dallas Mavericks. Below is a quick look at all the Earned Edition models.

The Boston Celtics have a new alternate jersey, and we don't know what to think about it.

According to a release, this year's Timberwolves Earned Edition uniform is a variation of the popular Prince-inspired City Edition uniforms that were unveiled earlier this season.
