"Stranger Things" season 3 video game announced

If you've got a Netflix subscription, you've probably watched all of Stranger Things, a nostalgia-tinged mystery show about alternate dimensions.

A new trailer for Stranger Things 3: The Game was revealed tonight, set to debut sometime in 2019 alongside the third season of the series on Netflix. But there's some good news - it does indeed live on, though with a completely different retro-style title.

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer made the announcement during the Game Awards on Thursday, Nov. 6. Before season 2, they collaborated on a Stranger Things mobile game that had a nice Legend of Zelda feel to it.

New leader chosen to replace Germany's Angela Merkel
More generous family leave, an exit from nuclear power and an end to military conscription are among her signature policies. But on what lies ahead for the CDU, Kramp-Karrenbauer said when campaigning: "I have no particular recipe".

The game is described as a "meticulously crafted Action Adventure RPG that pays homage to the 16-bit era" and has been developed by Bonus XP who were also responsible for the original Stranger Things game. Users will reportedly be able to take control of characters and go through some of the season's events, with surprises throughout. But we'll find out soon enough, fans. Like the series itself!

The Game will release on consoles and PC next year. The trailer gives a glimpse at some of the settings for Stranger Things season 3, including a government lab and the mall food court that we saw in the first teaser.
