Former Cavs Guard Arrested for Choking Woman

The Toronto Raptors' G League affiliate, Raptors 905, has released former National Basketball Association guard Kay Felder after his arrest on domestic violence charges outside Toronto on Monday morning, the team announced.

3, 2018, Raptors 905 guard Kay Felder was charged by police in connection with an allegation of domestic violence.

Felder's arrest was originally reported by TMZ Sports.

The former Atlanta Hawks second-round pick was arrested Monday morning on assault after a woman claimed he got violent and made threats during a night out, according to TMZ. The Raptors waived him in October.

Law enforcement confirms Felder was booked for assault and utter threats.

Bucks deal for Cavs' Hill
The Bucks are also sending John Henson to the Cavaliers in the deal, as well as a first-round and second-round pick in 2021. Dellavedova, 28, has been limited to 12 games this season due to an ankle injury and is averaging a career-low 1.7 points.

Felder is the Horizon League career assists leader from his time at Oakland University, and at only 23 years old, could have made his impact on an National Basketball Association team with enough hard work. The victim had enough time to call a family member, who then called the police. He had brief stints with the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons last season before signing a non-guaranteed contract in Toronto this past August.

Raptors 905 said it will not make further comment as the matter is before the courts.

Felder has since been released from custody and is due in court later this month. Reed is current playing for the Utah Jazz G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, suggesting Felder's career may not be over.

In 58 career National Basketball Association games, Felder averaged 3.8 points and 1.3 assists in 9.1 minutes per game.
