Arsenal players 'reminded of responsibilities' following laughing gas video

Young French midfielder Guendouzi can be seen passing out after inhaling from a balloon on a sofa.

"Hippy crack" - also known as laughing gas - can severely affect coordination and lead to potentially devastating health issues such as heart attacks or even death.

The video, obtained by The Sun shows the players in a London club days before the start of the season appearing to use nitrous oxide, and while the gas is freely available it is illegal to sell for recreational purposes.

Possession of the drug is not illegal in the United Kingdom, but its sale and production is restricted.

Armenia captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan and German defender Shkodran Mustafi were also present, but they were not seen inhaling from balloons. Raheem Sterling was warned by his then club Liverpool after footage emerged of him using the substance in 2015.

And the north London club has vowed to question the quarter over the incident.

The 27-year-old is averaging a Premier League goal every 161 minutes this season, despite often starting on the substitutes' bench, having reportedly been considering his future upon the Spaniard's arrivals as Arsene Wenger's successor.
