Trump Lashes Out at Mueller Ahead of Potentially Damaging Court Filings

Trump also tweeted about former FBI Director James Comey, who will speak with the House Judiciary and Oversight committees on Friday.

He noted that the last time Comey publicly testified before Congress, the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director responded almost 100 times with some variation of, "I can not answer that question in this setting".

President Trump blamed the special counsel investigation and "Presidential Harassment" for dragging down his approval rating on Thursday.

"Without the phony Russian Federation witch hunt, and with all that we have accomplished in the last nearly two years (tax and regulation cuts, judge's, military, vets, etc.) my approval rating would be at 75 per cent rather than the 50 per cent just reported by Rasmussen", Trump said in a tweet. The special counsel also will detail the lies prosecutors say former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort told that led to his plea deal falling apart.

Later in the morning, minutes before he was scheduled to leave for Kansas City to address a law enforcement conference, the president tried to knock down media reports that his personal legal team had dropped plans to issue their own report to counter Muellers.

Russian Federation unveils plans to build human colony on moon
The space agency said in a statement the goal is to bring many science and technology experiments to the moon as soon as possible. Working with USA companies is the next step to achieving long-term scientific study and human exploration of the Moon and Mars.

Manafort has said he believes he provided "truthful information".

Cohen is hoping he will get similar credit, emphasizing in a court filing last week that his decision to cooperate came in the face of fierce criticism by Trump of Mueller's probe.

Cohen pleaded guilty to financial crimes in a NY court in August, and last week to lying to Congress in a Mueller case. He denies any collusion between his team and Russian Federation, and accuses Mueller's prosecutors of pressuring his former aides to lie about him, his election campaign and his business dealings.

Mueller is expected to recommend a sentence for Trump's former "fixer" and personal attorney, Michael Cohen, which will require him to reveal why he is asking for a specific sentence ahead of a federal judge's Tuesday final ruling. Trump pressuring Rosenstein to step aside from the probe would only intensify those House investigations.
