PM Khan congratulates Yasir Shah on 'stellar' record-breaking performance

He took 21 and 25 wickets respectively in series wins over the West Indies.

Yasir Shah became the fastest to take 200 Test wickets after dismissing William Somerville on Day 4 of the third Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

"A fantastic performance to be a part of, we know how formidable Pakistan are, certainly in their Pakistan they're a very hard side to beat".

"It was a really great fighting effort, and one we'll remember for a long time".

Dejected Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed (R) reacts during a ceremony on the third and final Test cricket match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on December 7, 2018.

He and Nicholls, closing on his third test century, scored 87 in the second session and 73 in the last session.

Joining forces at 60-4, still trailing Pakistan by 14 runs, the pair added 212 - the highest fifth-wicket partnership for the Black Caps against Pakistan.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez promises to pay interns $15 an hour
Soon, Democrats may have one of those send-them-to-Gimbels/send-them-to-Macy's moment on their hands just in time for Christmas. Most interns go unpaid in the nation's capital; unsurprisingly, more Republicans now offer paid internships than Democrats.

They've never done it in India, and in Pakistan just once in 1969 with victory in Lahore and two draws. He's made the batsmen play each of this deliveries so far, with 54% of his deliveries hitting or clipping the stumps.

He struck twice in his first four balls and was on a hat-trick, nicking off left-hander Haris Sohail to a juggling Ross Taylor before Asad Shafiq got a faint glove and BJ Watling held on down the leg side.

Medium pacer Colin de Grandhomme had first-innings centurion Azhar Ali caught behind for five before Somerville's double strike pushed Pakistan to 55-5 at lunch. Patel created the most drift and turn of all the spinners in the test, and worked well in tandem with Somerville, who offered up different speeds, and significant bounce. It took the spinner just 33 matches to reach the milestone.

"They showed how strong they were in Dubai and turned us over pretty easily there".

After 15 consecutive overs of spin, Somerville broke through, firing through a quicker delivery - too quick for Sarfraz, who was caught on the back foot and couldn't chop down in time to avoid being bowled.

Since taking seven wickets on debut against Australia in 2014, Yasir has been a key figure in Pakistan's Test team. This was their first series victory in Asia since 2008 against Bangladesh.
