Liverpool lose Joe Gomez for six weeks

Gomez went down following a challenge from Burnley's Ben Mee - one of a number of tackles that left Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp unhappy.

"I thought Bournemouth were very fortunate against Huddersfield".

"I said after the first challenge, I don't know who did it, sliding tackle from six or seven yards, getting the ball, everybody likes it, I said to the ref "it's no foul but please tell them you can not do that".

With Manchester City still pressing ahead at the top of the table, Liverpool will be desperately hoping that Mane will be available to help them continue to put the pressure on their title rivals at the Vitality Stadium.

"There was nothing to say "wow, too much", they were normal challenges".

The German said: "When players are sliding in like that it can get unsafe, because of the speed, and somebody has to say stop with these tackles".

The US Navy sent a guided-missile destroyer Wednesday to challenge Russian Federation in the Sea of Japan. Korotchenko said Russian Federation would not resort to "silly" attempts to project military power.

"I think the only one that was questionable was from Bardo [Phil Bardsley]".

"They've definitely improved as a team", Howe said.

Bournemouth fans will obviously be desperate to keep him but why he doesn't get mentioned when the big jobs come around is just beyond me.

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is set for only six weeks out despite sustaining a fracture to his lower leg against Burnley on Wednesday evening. He had been performing so well alongside Virgil van Dijk and with Dejan Lovren absent due to concussion, Bournemouth may sense an opportunity there.

"We send him our best if any injury has occurred but it wasn't from a bad tackle".

Gomez has been a key player for Liverpool this season as they have started the campaign in fine form, going their opening 15 games unbeaten.
