Burger King Offering One-Cent Whoppers… At McDonald’s?

Burger King Offering One-Cent Whoppers… At McDonald’s?

The one-cent Whopper is available when ordering on the fast food app and the deal comes into place when you're standing in a McDonald's parking lot, considering the distance.

Burger King has found a new way to troll McDonald's - by sending customers there.

Burger King is running a clever promotion in order to get people to use its mobile app. All you have to do is drive near a McDonald's and use the Burger King app. A few weeks before that, the company used images of real vehicle crashes involving Burger King restaurants as a way to encourage customers to use delivery instead of driving as a means to get their food. If the customer is close enough to the golden arches, the app will unlock the penny promotion for fans to order. The WHOPPER ® Detour promotion can be redeemed one time only, from December 4th until December 12th, at participating BURGER KING ® restaurants nationwide.
