2.0 box-office collection day 7: This is Rajinikanth’s highest grossing Hindi film

Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar starrer science fiction action movie "2.0" has created hype as the movie is ruling the domestic box office and also generating good profit from the overseas market. The makers of the 3D film have reportedly spent a whopping 75 million dollars on the VFX which amounts to Rs 543 crores approximately.

Karan Johar, who is presenting the Hindi version of the film, shared the news on Twitter. The actor has already scored a box office hattrick with Gold and Pad Man. The Hindi version of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's latest movie is standing with total box office collection of 132 crore.

According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 2.0 is going to be Akshay Kumar's biggest hit film ever.

In his recent interview, Shankar has said that if a proper idea pops up, he is game for "3.0" but the director only prefers Rajinikanth to play any form of Chitti. The film is one of the most expensive Indian film which also is a standalone sequel to 2010's Enthiran.
