The Next Far Cry Game Will Be Revealed This Week

Naturally, we watch it every year.

That would make it the first Far Cry game in a long while to continue the story of the previous one, but whether it'd be called Far Cry 5-2, or something similar, remains to be seen.

We'll just have to wait for the Game Awards to find out - alongside the rumored Crash Team Racing announcement.

Ubisoft has unexpectedly released a teaser video for an upcoming new Far Cry game, seemingly set after the events of Far Cry 5.

Saudi Arabia works on convincing Russian Federation to join oil cuts
Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United States have been vying for the position of top crude producer in recent years. If Russia contributed around 250,000 bpd, the overall cut could exceed 1.3 million bpd.

No, you read that right - there's gonna be a new Far Cry game that takes place, going by the teaser trailer, after a nuclear apocalypse.

I won't even embed the video until the end of the post-I will simply say that some sort of Far Cry news is coming during the big show tomorrow, and if you're interested, you should watch it. In other words, I don't expect the company to announce Far Cry 6 (it's not impossible but I will really be surprised if it does). What's far more likely is that Ubisoft is teasing some kinda Far Cry 5 spin-off or DLC, something in the vein of Far Cry 3's Blood Dragon expansion.

It definitely looks to be an interesting twist on the series, and we are looking forward to finding out more tomorrow night. In the meantime: did you play Far Cry 5?
