Sonali Bendre Returns Home After Her Treatment

Since the time she first shared the news of her illness in July this year, she has been keeping her fans updated via social media posts.

Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre Behl, who has been putting up a courageous fight against metastatic cancer for months in NY, will return to Mumbai, India for a "happy interval", reported Business Standard. She even indicated that her treatment has yet not come to an end, she wrote "fight is not over yet but I am looking forward to this happy interval".

A source close to her said: "Sonali never let cancer affect her life.She bravely fought cancer and is a survivor".

Sonali Bendre has comeback to India to her home. "It is a big homecoming for her. Sonali has always been a shining example of a strong woman and handled her ordeal in the most dignified and positive manner".

Many celebrities from Indian film Industry like Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Sussanne Khan had met Sonali Kapoor in NY, when she was undergoing the treatment.

The actress was returning home after months of chemotherapy sessions in NY.

Sonali, best known for her role in '90s movies such as Sarfarosh, Diljale and Duplicate, is married to filmmaker Goldie Behl. She has been putting up a fearless fight against high-grade cancer which she discovered only after reaching a critical stage in July. Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussanne Khan and former actor Gayatri Joshi have visited her, and together they had posed pictures with Sonali. She is back for good.

He added: "There is nothing as such she will have to go back for". She is recovering very well. Thank you all for the love and support. Although she asserts that her battle continues, she maintained that this is a happy interval where she gets to return home. "Love you too much".
