Klopp sorry for losing it after Merseyside derby victor

Jurgen Klopp truly lost his mind after Divock Origi scored the victor in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

Origi's goal - his first for Liverpool since May 2017 - took Klopp's team back to within two points of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, sparking wild celebrations at Anfield.

Origi's dramatic strike sparked scenes of jubilation inside Anfield and Klopp himself got swept up in the moment, charging from his technical area to celebrate with Alisson in Liverpool's half. Yes we lost, but much to be proud about. The RS never won it, we chucked it away.

Looking forward to the Newcastle game. "I've said many times we are delighted but he can do better". Maybe there will be mistakes and the next week we can solve those mistakes. Proud to be an Evertonian as always. They are just an outstanding side and it was a hard game today. We only wanted to win that game.

"Everyone is devastated because of the work we put in".

Unfortunately for Klopp, his celebrations look as if they are coming back to bite him.

First, Yerry Mina headed wide from close-range from a free-kick and then Andre Gomes's double effort drew a stunning save from Alisson and goalline clearance from Joe Gomez.

I understand the frustration after that tonight, reading the likes of Dave & Tony Abrahams & John Mc etc makes me feel more positive.

Even in defeat today the rs know they were in a game. I can imagine all the disappointment of Everton in a situation like that. He got unlucky. He has been brilliant for us.

Sean Dyche says his team have lost what he's calling "the eye of the tiger" - but if Liverpool's front three start to click, Burnley might find themselves in the eye of a storm.

When Lookman has the ball at his feet you get the feeling anything can happen, and I hope we keep hold onto him and see him flourish.
