Hyundai Palisade Photos Leak Ahead of LA Auto Show Reveal

This, says the brand, delivers quieter rear air-conditioning airflow, draft-free operation and more uniform distribution of air. It also includes a wireless charging pad, although it's not clear whether this will be a standard or available feature.

The new Palisade offers a slew of creature comforts, including 16 cupholders and almost as many USB ports. Produced in Ulsan, Korea, the Palisade rides on an all-new SUV chassis with exceptional second- and third-row roominess coupled with generous cargo area and reconfiguration flexibility. It comes with a 3.8-liter gasoline engine or 2.2-liter diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. When equipped with the latter system, the Aviator offers several drive modes so the driver can adjust to the road conditions... or to their mood in the moment.

HTRAC is a major highlight because if have AWD locking, can shuffle power side-to-side and even influences shifting according to available grip.

Additionally, there's Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) that employs an ultrasonic sensor in the cabin to detect the movements of children and pets.

Speaking of blind-spot assist, the Palisade supplements the visual warnings in the mirrors with a side-mounted camera system (like Honda's Lane Watch) that projects a live video feed of the vehicle's side in the instrument cluster whenever the indicators are activated (below). First, the model is loaded with a terrain-customized driving mode, which allows the auto to run any rugged roads.
