"Pakistan Can't Even Manage Its 4 Provinces": Shahid Afridi On Kashmir

Former Pakistan global cricketer Shahid Afridi has a word of advice for Prime Minister Imran Khan on the Kashmir dispute, which has been ailing Islamabad and New Delhi for decades. The 38-year-old former cricketer, while addressing students at the British parliament, said that "Pakistan doesn't need Kashmir.it can't even take care of its four provinces". Let Kashmir be independent. At least humanity will be alive. "It pains to see people die there", he told the press. Let people not die.Pakistan doesn't want Kashmir. What is the big thing is humanity.

He said that a recent report on Kashmir by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights followed by a similar report compiled by the All Parties Parliamentary Kashmir Group in the British Parliament was a positive reflection of the fact that the worldwide community had now started realising the gravity of the dispute.

The firebrand cricketer soon issued a statement on social media, clarifying his "passionate" remarks and accusing Indian media of misinterpreting his comments and presenting them "out of context". Kashmir is unresolved dispute & under brutal Indian occupation.

Hundreds of migrants from caravan group reach United States border
So far, more than 7,000 troops have been ordered to deploy to the southwest border across Texas, Arizona, and California. They claimed they had been discriminated against by other people in the caravan, which has now swollen to nearly 7,000.

Imran Khan, since taking power in August, 2018, has also been raking up the Kashmir issue, while also mentioning that Pakistan wants friendly relations with India. The comments didn't go down well with India and Afridi was severely criticised by eminent personalities as well as ordinary Indians.

In April, the former Pakistani skipper had been clobbered on social media for a tweet commenting that there was an "appalling and worrisome situation" in Kashmir and urging the United Nations to intervene. Myself along with every Pakistani support Kashmiri freedom struggle. Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence.

Several Indian cricketers had expressed strong disapproval over Pakistan cricketer's remarks.
