Netflix's 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' announces bonus Christmas episode

Netflix's 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' announces bonus Christmas episode

Ahead of Halloween, the show did pretty well. The original cast of Sabrina The Teenage Witch did a reaction to the new version of Sabrina with Buzzfeed. So much so, that the second season has been confirmed.

The special Christmas episode will air on Netflix on December 14th.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa also posted the same animated card with a different caption. The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina's "A Midwinter's Tale" debuts on December 14th on Netflix. It is going to be all about Winter Solstice.

The episode description explains what we will see. "The Church of Satan has not filed a suit against Netflix, nor do we have a problem with their Sabrina show, which we've previously discussed".

The special, which is titled "A Midwinter's Tale", focuses on the Church of Night celebrating the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year.

The episode will focus on solstice celebrations. Jeff Woolnough directed the special.

They'll be joined by Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen and Lachlan Watson, who are all reprising their roles in the festive special.

Pound surges on hopes of Brexit breakthrough
The UK pound has been victim to wild Brexit-induced swings in the past 24 hours, and the volatility isn't set to end anytime soon. The Australian dollar changed hands at $0.7224, gaining 0.12 percent versus the greenback.

We think there is a big clue about what the adventure will be about. But given how unfettered Netflix is to traditional standards and how it likes to paint itself as a disrupter, the company should lean into more creative releases.

On Monday, Netflix released an "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Netflix" holiday campaign on YouTube.

Sabrina will be different this holiday season, though.

There have been many questions for Season 2, such as Sabrina's pact with the Devil, becoming a Weird Sister, Aunt Zelda stealing Father Blackwood's daughter, and the show's loose connection to the CW's Riverdale. She claimed the baby was absorbed by her brother in the womb, and then she told Hilda that she wanted to raise the little girl as their own.

What sort of witch traditions will we see?

This time around, Sabrina is played by Kiernan Shipka, and the family-friendly comedic environment is gone.

With Luke and Ambrose the only real couple right now, will they get some holiday romance?
